Carl was on a job site when he jumped out of the back of a truck and hurt his knee. “Something popped in my knee and suddenly it felt weird. It was wobbly,” said Carl. A foreman sent him to the doctor, who confirmed he had torn his ACL. Carl got his ACL repaired, but that was just the beginning of his recovery journey.

12 weeks of work lost to a knee injury

“Right after the surgery, they wanted me to limit how much I bent my knee,” said Carl. “They put me on the GenuEase and I could see right there on the screen how far I could go.” GenuEase lets the physical therapist set limits for the patient which appear as yellow lines on the screen. “After a couple of weeks, they wanted me to start expanding my range of motion, so they wanted me to go as far as I could and hold it.”

Back to work with the help of GenuEase

Using GenuEase, and with the help of his physical therapist, Carl was back at work in three months.  “Honestly, I think GenuEase made a huge difference in how fast I was able to get back to work,” said Carl. We work with Workers Compensation funds across the US to help workers get back to work faster.

GenuEase™ provides patients faster range-of-motion recovery with fewer complications and greater patient satisfaction than any other rehabilitation method. If you need to get back to work after a knee surgery, talk to your physical therapist about GenuEase.
